At Karol's Empanadas, every recipe tells a story.
Growing up, some of my favorite memories were gathered around the table at my grandparents' and family's homes in Argentina, where food was never just food. It was connection, hospitality, laughter, and time spent together. Those traditional flavors became the foundation of how I learned to love and appreciate great food.
At the same time, growing up in Southern California shaped my palate in a different way. Surrounded by diverse cultures, bold flavors, and creative food experiences, I developed a love for ingredients and combinations that might not always be considered traditional, but simply work beautifully together.
Karol's Empanadas is where those two worlds meet.
Some of our recipes stay close to the flavors I grew up with, while others reflect the influences and creativity that come from life in Southern California. The result is a menu rooted in tradition, inspired by family, and elevated by a genuine love for good food and flavors that bring people joy.
